Parañaque National High School-Baclaran: Annual Implementation Plan Review for S.Y. 2024-2O25

Paranaque National High School- Baclaran adheres to deliver a quality service to the school’s stakeholders. To assess and provide commendable feedback on all the school’s implemented Projects, Programs, and Activities (PPAs) for the school year 2024-2025, the teaching and non-teaching personnel gathered for a meeting to share what the school accomplished as far as those are concerned. In addition, the said meeting presented and discussed PPAs under the supervision of the department heads during the applicable school year. Also, it aimed to share status of the PPAs conclusive implementation relative to the K to 12 Program.

In its steadfast commitment to the principles of Gender Equality and Development (GAD) and in response to Republic Act No. 9710, or the Magna Carta of Women, PNHS-Baclaran successfully conducted its 2024 GAD Activities at La Vista Pansol Resort Complex, Laguna.
The two-day event was a blend of collaboration, learning, and camaraderie among the teaching and non-teaching staff. The activities focused on improving teamwork and promoting inclusivity to support the school’s commitment to creating a gender-sensitive and fair learning environment.

✔️ A motivating address by Principal Gerry C. Catchillar, encouraging the integration of GAD principles in daily interactions and teaching practices.

15th Founding Anniversary of Parañaque National High School-Baclaran

Paranaque National High School-Baclaran celebrated its 15th Foundation Anniversary with the theme, “PNHS Baclaran: Matatag na Pamilya para sa Bansang Makabata, Batang Makabansa”. The theme emphasizes the importance of promoting strong ties to build a better learning community. This event commenced with a doxology followed by a nationalistic song. After which, Gerry C. Catchillar, School principal IV, gave his inspirational message. In particular, he expressed his gratitude and commended the success of the PNHS- Baclaran family for the past 15 years since it was founded.
To reminisce the school’s fruitful milestones for the past 15 years, an audio-visual presentation was presented. After watching, those seasoned teachers shared their invaluable insights as to how the PNHS-Baclaran grow into a united and progressing school community.
To make the celebration exciting, teachers prepared entertaining intermission numbers as well as creative games. Teachers in both Junior High School and Senior High School were on groove in presenting their entertaining and collaborative intermission numbers. In addition, the facilitated games were truly enjoyed by the teachers.
 
To cap today’s event, the PNHS-Baclaran family enjoyed the prepared food as part of the celebration. Simultaneously, teachers offered a simple celebration too to greet our principal for his birthday.
 

National Opening of Classes for S.Y. 2024-2025

Parañaque National High School–Baclaran welcomes the School Year 2024-2025 with vigor and optimism. Teaching and Non-teaching personnel delightedly gathered at the school gym for a short program 

 The National Opening of Classes commenced with the following: (a) presentation of a prayer; (b) singing of the national anthem, Bagong Pilipinas hymn, NCR hymn, Division hymn, and School hymn; and (c) recitation of Panunumpa ng Katapatan sa Watawat ng Pilipinas.

 Dr. Gerry C. Catchillar, school principal, gave his motivational opening remarks where he encouraged the learners as well as the teachers to embrace the new school year with optimism in spite of the unprecedented climate disturbance last week. He also emphasized that this new school year opens new challenges due to the start of the MATATAG curriculum. Still, resiliency on both the teachers and learners should prevail because the DepEd’s primordial objective is to produce a good future for our country.

Lastly, all the supportive and dedicated Department Heads of the different learning areas proudly presented their teachers respectively. The presentation of teachers per department were as follow: Filipino Department headed by Ms. Cristina S. Galacgac, English Department headed by Ms. Milagros V. Dulce, Mathematics Department headed by Ms. Mylene Q. Tayag, Science Department headed by Ms. Nabelle B. Quinagon, Araling Panlipunan Department headed by Mr. Gliender V. Ranoco, ESP Department headed by Ms. Sheila G. Alberto, TLE Department headed by Ms. Chinsa T. Tabanera, and MAPEH Department headed by Ms. Alma Z. Rafal.

To cap today’s event, a group picture taking of all the teaching and non-teaching personnel was held at the stage of the school gym. After which, all the class advisers went to their respective classrooms to conduct their classroom-based orientation.

PNHS – Baclaran Year-end Party of the Teaching and Non-Teaching Personnel facilitated by Mr. Gliender V. Ranoco, Assistant to the Principal for External Linkages. Hon. Jun Zaide, Brgy. Captain of Baclaran, also enjoined the said event to give some raffles. The teachers enjoyed the program and were very thankful for their gifts and prizes.
